The Ghana Police Service has set a 24-hour deadline for Swedru School of Business (SWESBUS) management. This is to ensure the students accused of assaulting another student are brought forward.
The incident involved a pupil from Obrachire Senior High Technical School. The assault occurred during a district inter-schools athletics meet on February 20.
The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) is handling the case. The CID boss has ordered the headmaster to produce the students within the given timeframe.
This action aims to investigate the alleged assault thoroughly. Justice will be served for the injured student.
School authorities are cooperating with the police. They are expected to present the accused students to aid the ongoing investigation.
