The Education Ministry has condemned a recent outbreak of violence at the Agona Swedru schools' athletics games.

Students from Obrachire Senior High Technical School (SHTS) and Swedru Senior High School (SWESBUS) were involved in the clashes.

The ministry has directed the Ghana Education Service (GES) to investigate the matter. The police have also been asked to assist with the investigation.

The goal is to find those responsible for the violence. The ministry stated that culprits will face sanctions.

Such incidents disrupt the learning environment and threaten student safety. The ministry aims to prevent future occurrences.
