Officials from the Economic and Organised Crime Office EOCO have escorted Dennis Miracles Aboagye to his residence. The location is Larteh Akuapem.
Mr Aboagye is an aide to the New Patriotic Party NPP flagbearer Mahamudu Bawumia. His escort to his home is part of ongoing investigations.
EOCO had previously granted Mr Aboagye bail. The bail amount was GH¢50 million. He was required to provide three sureties.
Two of these sureties had to be justified. This means they had to prove they had sufficient assets to cover the bail sum.
