A church founder, Pastor Kelvin Kwesi Kobiri, has appealed to President John Dramani Mahama, the Speaker of Parliament and the Inspector-General of Police over allegations against the Member of Parliament for Akwatia, Bernard Bediako Baidoo.
According to Chale News, citing GhanaWeb, the pastor alleges the MP, his brother and a lawyer were involved in a scheme to strip Air Real Estate Company Limited of its properties through court proceedings he says were fraudulent.
The pastor said a civil action to set aside the judgment is before the court, and claimed that police had completed investigations but that interference had stopped the case moving forward.
Mr Baidoo has previously rejected the allegations. In August 2026 he denied orchestrating any fraudulent scheme and said he was not the lawyer on record in the case, Chale News reported.
The allegations have not been tested in court, and no one has been charged. All those named are presumed innocent.
