Haruna Iddrisu, the Minister for Education, has urged the Ghana Police Service to act quickly.
He wants them to find and arrest a teacher from Bole Senior High School.
This teacher is accused of having inappropriate sexual relations with a student.
The alleged incident happened in the school’s science laboratory, according to a police statement.
The Minister called the incident “unacceptable and shameful.”
He stressed the importance of investigators ensuring the suspect faces justice.
The Ghana Police Service is working to locate the teacher.
Authorities are investigating the serious allegations.
