A 35-year-old man has been arrested by the Ghana Police Service. The arrest follows allegations of defilement against a 9-year-old girl.
The incident reportedly took place in Akyem Aduase in the Eastern Region. The girl's parents took her to the police after she told them she was experiencing pain.
Police officers responded to the report. They have taken the suspect into custody for questioning.
