A woman accused of stealing a baby has been granted bail. Latifa Salifu, 33, appeared in court on allegations of child theft.
The incident allegedly occurred at the Mamprobi Polyclinic in Accra. A four-day-old baby was reportedly taken from the facility.
Salifu, who is a mother of two, was granted bail in the amount of GH¢200,000 by a court.
The Ghana Police Service is continuing its investigation into the alleged theft.
