Dr. Peter Anti, Executive Director of the Institute for Education Services, has called on the Ministry of Education to take more direct action.
He said the Ministry should not just ask for investigations into violent incidents. This follows recent assaults involving senior high school students in the Central Region.
Dr. Anti believes the Ministry needs to put in place stronger measures to prevent such violence.
His comments come after a series of fights and assaults among students. These events have raised concerns about safety in schools.
The Ministry has been urged to move beyond just looking into what happened. They should work to stop these issues from happening again.
