The High Court in Accra has granted more time for plea bargain talks. This involves the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, known as Wontumi.
The case concerns allegations of fraud related to the GH¢30 million Ghana Export-Import Bank.
Justice has allowed the Attorney-General and Mr. Antwi Boasiako more time to finalize these negotiations.
The court did not state new details about the substance of the talks.
Further proceedings will depend on the outcome of these discussions.
