Government spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu announced that an amount of almost GH¢50 million has been frozen.
This money belongs to Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi.
The freezing of the accounts is part of an investigation into suspected financial crimes.

Mr Kwakye Ofosu is also the Member of Parliament for Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese.
The Economic and Organised Crime Office EOCO took the action.
