Officers from the Ghana Revenue Authority customs division, working with the police, have stopped two vehicles. These vehicles were found to be carrying goods that had not gone through the proper customs procedures.

The interception took place in the Volta Region. The seized items include alcoholic beverages and various other types of merchandise that were not declared.

Authorities have confirmed the seizure of these uncustomed goods. The vehicles have also been impounded as part of the investigation.

An official statement indicated that investigations are underway. The focus is on discovering where the goods came from and where they were intended to be taken.

This action is part of efforts to ensure compliance with import and tax laws. It helps prevent illegal trade and loss of revenue for the country.

The Ghana Revenue Authority and the police continue to enforce customs regulations across the region.
