A group has finished looking into claims of bad behavior at two major hospitals in Accra. These claims included charging patients too much money for medical services.

The investigation focused on the Greater Accra Regional Hospital and Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. A seven-member committee was formed to examine these serious accusations.

The committee has presented its full report to the Ministry of Health. They found that some unethical practices did happen at these hospitals.

The committee was led by Dr. Inua. They looked carefully at the records and spoke with people involved.

Based on their findings, the committee is suggesting that some staff members should face disciplinary measures. This means they might get warnings or other punishments.

The Ministry of Health will now review the committee's report and decide what actions to take next. These actions will aim to ensure patients are treated fairly and ethically.

This investigation highlights the importance of proper procedures in healthcare settings. It shows that authorities are looking into concerns raised by the public.

The goal is to maintain trust in Ghana's public hospitals and protect patients from exploitation.
