A committee has recommended disciplinary measures against some hospital staff. This comes after they investigated unapproved charges at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital and Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. The committee looked into allegations of patients being charged too much for medical services.
The group, which had seven members, gave its findings to the Ministry of Health. They confirmed that some unethical practices occurred at the hospitals. The committee was chaired by Dr. Inua.
The investigation focused on financial misconduct and unethical behaviour involving some staff members.
