The Office of the Special Prosecutor has conducted court-approved raids on five fuel depots and Bulk Oil Distribution Companies (BDCs) across Ghana. The operation is in response to suspected petroleum import fraud, tax evasion, and alleged collusion with state officials.
The targeted companies include Platon Oil & Gas, Sentuo Oil, Akwaaba Oil, Sahara Oil & Gas, and Chase Petroleum. This action marks a significant step in the ongoing efforts to combat economic crimes within the petroleum sector.
