The Office of the Special Prosecutor OSP has dropped charges against Albert Ankrah.

Ankrah was one of the individuals accused in a case involving the former Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority NPA Mustapha Abdul-Hamid.

The OSP decided to withdraw the charges against Ankrah so he could testify for the prosecution.

This development is part of a larger case concerning alleged extortion from oil marketing companies.

The total amount allegedly extorted is over GH¢291 million and $323,407.47.

Albert Ankrah is a director at Kel, a company linked to the case.
