An official from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has called for the sale of the country's presidential jet. Dela Edem, speaking on a radio program, believes the money from the sale could be used to fund important national projects. He suggested this before the government considers buying a new aircraft.
The current presidential jet is a Dassault Falcon 900. It was recently sent to France for its annual maintenance. Edem stated that selling the jet would provide funds for development initiatives.
He argued that the proceeds could support various sectors needing resources for growth and improvement.
This suggestion comes amid ongoing discussions about government spending and resource allocation for national development.
