Dela Edem, a spokesperson for the National Democratic Congress NDC, has called for the sale of Ghana's presidential jet.

He suggested that the funds generated from selling the aircraft should be used to support national development initiatives.

Edem stated that this should happen before the government considers purchasing a new presidential plane.

The current presidential aircraft is a Dassault Falcon 900. It was recently sent to France for its annual maintenance.

Edem expressed these views during a discussion on Adom FM.
