A communication officer for the National Democratic Congress has proposed selling Ghana's presidential jet.
Dela Edem suggested the money from the sale could fund development projects across the country.
He spoke on a radio program about the aircraft.
The Dassault Falcon 900 jet recently underwent annual maintenance in France.
Edem said the funds could benefit national development before a new aircraft is considered.
