A communicator for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dela Edem, has called for the sale of Ghana's presidential jet. He believes the money raised should be used to fund development projects across the country.
Edem made these remarks during a discussion on Adom FM's Dwaso Nsem. He suggested that the current Dassault Falcon 900 aircraft, which was recently sent to France for its annual maintenance, could be sold.
The communicator argued that selling the jet would provide immediate financial resources that could be directed towards critical national needs.
He proposed that any decision to acquire a new presidential aircraft should come only after the current one is sold and its proceeds are utilized for development.
