A communicator for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has suggested selling the country's presidential jet. Dela Edem believes the money from the sale could be used for development.

Edem made these statements on Adom FM. He said the government should prioritize national needs before acquiring new assets.

The current presidential aircraft is a Dassault Falcon 900. It was recently sent to France for its annual maintenance.

Edem's suggestion comes as the nation faces various development challenges. He implied selling the jet would be a responsible financial move.
