Dela Edem, a spokesperson for the National Democratic Congress, has called for the sale of Ghana's presidential jet.

Edem stated that the money raised from selling the aircraft could be used to support national development projects.

This suggestion was made on Adom FM's Dwaso Nsem program.

He believes the proceeds should be invested in the country before any plans for a new jet are considered.

Ghana's current presidential jet is a Dassault Falcon 900.

The aircraft was recently sent to France for its annual maintenance.
