A communicator for the National Democratic Congress, Dela Edem, has called for the sale of Ghana's presidential jet.
Edem stated on Adom FM that the money raised from selling the aircraft should be used to support national development efforts.
He suggested this should happen before the government procures a new presidential jet.
The current presidential aircraft is a Dassault Falcon 900.
This jet was recently sent to France for its annual maintenance, according to Edem.
