Dela Edem, identified as a communicator for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has proposed selling Ghana's presidential jet. He stated this proposal during a discussion on Adom FM's Dwaso Nsem program.

Edem suggested that the funds generated from the sale of the Dassault Falcon 900 aircraft should be directed towards supporting vital national development projects.

He further indicated that the government should consider acquiring a new aircraft only after the proceeds from the sale have been utilized for developmental purposes.

The current presidential jet was recently sent to France for its annual maintenance checks.

The proposal aims to reallocate resources from the presidential fleet to address pressing national needs.

This call highlights discussions around government expenditure and resource allocation for public benefit.
