An official from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has proposed selling Ghana’s presidential jet. Dela Edem, an NDC communicator, made the suggestion on Adom FM.

Edem stated that the proceeds from selling the Dassault Falcon 900 should be used to support national development. This would be a step taken before the government acquires a new aircraft.

The current presidential jet was recently sent to France for its annual maintenance. Edem believes this presents an opportunity to reconsider its future use.

He argued that using the funds for development projects would directly benefit the nation’s progress. This approach prioritizes immediate needs over the acquisition of a new plane.
