Dela Edem, a communicator for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has proposed selling Ghana’s current presidential jet. This action, he stated, would help fund national development projects.

Edem made this call while speaking on a radio program. He believes the aircraft should be sold before any decision is made about acquiring a new one.

The jet in question is a Dassault Falcon 900. It was recently sent to France for its annual maintenance.

The proceeds from the sale, according to Edem, could be directly applied to improving various sectors within the country.

This suggestion highlights a debate about government spending priorities. The proposal focuses on immediate developmental needs.
