A communicator for the National Democratic Congress, Dela Edem, has urged the government to sell the country's presidential jet. He stated this should be done to help fund development projects.

Edem suggested that the proceeds from the sale could be used to support national development efforts. This would happen before the government looks into acquiring a new aircraft.

The current presidential jet is a Dassault Falcon 900. It was recently sent to France for its annual maintenance.

Edem made these remarks during an appearance on Adom FM's Dwaso Nsem program.
