The Member of Parliament for Manhyia South, Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, has called for an investigation.
He wants to know if a relative of President John Dramani Mahama was involved in the AKSA Energy power project.
Mr Awuah said investigators must identify the person mentioned in United States court documents.
This person was described as a relative of the President.
The MP believes this matter needs to be looked into thoroughly.
He stated that the investigation should establish the facts.
