Dr Gideon Boako, a Member of Parliament, has alleged that the sale of 18 tonnes of Ghana's gold reserves was done with a criminal purpose.
He stated this during the debate on the State of the Nation Address in Parliament on March 4.
The lawmaker described the gold sale as very worrying and possibly harmful to the country's future.
