The Minister for Roads and Highways, Governs Kwame Agbodza, has issued a strong warning to quantity surveyors.
He stated that the government is considering reporting surveyors to the Economic and Organised Crime Office EOCO.
This action follows allegations of surveyors attempting to inflate compensation claims.
These claims are related to properties affected by government road projects.
The Minister indicated that EOCO involvement could happen very soon if these practices continue.
He made these remarks regarding the compensation process for affected property owners.
