Private legal practitioner Martin Kpebu is demanding that those implicated in the Auditor General’s latest report face legal action. The report details fictitious debts amounting to GH¢8.1 billion.
Kpebu stressed that the findings need careful review. He believes that technocrats and consultants involved should be named and prosecuted if the evidence supports it.
He stated that the law must be applied to all individuals found to have contributed to the fictitious debt. This includes identifying all parties responsible for the financial irregularities.
