Minister of State for Government Communications Felix Kwakye Ofosu has spoken out against criticism of President John Dramani Mahama s use of a private jet. This jet is owned by the President s brother.

Kwakye Ofosu raised questions about why people are concerned about this arrangement. He believes the current focus on the jet is misplaced.

Opposition members previously stated that the President had violated a Code of Conduct. This code applies to government appointees.

Their accusation stemmed from President Mahama s repeated use of his brother s private aircraft for his travels abroad.

Kwakye Ofosu defended the President s actions. He asked what the real problem is if Mahama uses his own brother s plane.
