Former Minister of Trade and Industry Kobina Tahir Hammond has stated he will pursue legal action.

His action is directed at the Finance Minister and the Auditor-General of Ghana.

This comes after a report was released that allegedly implicates him in financial misdeeds.

Mr. Hammond denies any wrongdoing in relation to the report's findings.

He described the allegations against him as false during a media interview.

The former minister's legal team is expected to file the necessary documents seeking judicial review.

The Auditor-General's office has not yet released a public statement regarding Mr. Hammond's threat.

The Finance Ministry has also not commented on the impending legal challenge.
