The Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak, has accepted an apology from the Minority Leader in Parliament.

This follows allegations of corruption made against the recruitment process for security services.

Speaking in Parliament yesterday, the Minister stated that the accusations were painful.

He explained that the claims portrayed his actions as suggesting criminal wrongdoing.
