A committee has finished looking into claims of fake charges at Greater Accra Regional Hospital and Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. These charges were for services that were not approved.

The committee found that some bad practices took place. People working at the hospitals may have done things they shouldn't have done.

The findings have been given to the Ministry of Health. The ministry will now decide what happens next.

The committee recommended that some staff members should be disciplined. This means they might face warnings or other punishments.

The investigation was started because people complained about the high amounts patients were asked to pay.

These problems happened at two important hospitals in Accra.

The Ministry of Health will review the report and the recommendations.
