A committee has finished its work on unfair charges at two major Accra hospitals. These hospitals are Ridge Hospital and Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
The committee was formed to look into complaints about patients being charged too much for medical services. They found that some staff were involved in these unethical practices.
Now, the committee has given its findings to the Ministry of Health. They have also suggested that some staff should face disciplinary measures.
The investigation aimed to ensure patients are not overcharged for their care.
The Ministry of Health will decide on the next steps based on the committee's report.
