Sulemana Braimah, Executive Director of the Media Foundation for West Africa, has raised concerns about government contracts. He stated that the next few days are crucial for seeing if the Maama administration will stick to its promise.
The promise involves stopping the improper use of sole-sourced contracts. It also includes restrictive tendering, which limits the number of bidders.
Braimah believes that using these methods unfairly can be seen as an abuse of state resources.
