The Ghana Gold Board GoldBod has signed a new agreement with the Ghana Geological Survey Authority GGSA. This partnership is aimed at exploring for minerals.

The investigations will take place in three areas that are known to have significant mineral deposits. These areas are Funsi, Atuna, and Bensere East.

This work is part of Phase One of a larger project being undertaken by GoldBod. The aim is to identify and assess potential mineral wealth.

The collaboration leverages the expertise of the GGSA in geological surveys. This will help in making informed decisions about future mining activities.

Ghana's natural resources are important for its economy. This initiative seeks to unlock more of the country's mineral potential.

Further details about the project timeline and expected outcomes will be released by GoldBod and the GGSA.
