The Ghana Gold Board has signed a GH¢27.5 million deal with the Ghana Geological Survey Authority. The agreement was made yesterday.
This money will be used for geological studies in three mineral-rich areas Funsi, Atuna and Bensere East. This is to help make mining in Ghana more data-driven.
This agreement marks the first step in a larger initiative. The goal is to collect strong and reliable information about Ghana's mineral resources.
