The Ghana Gold Board, known as GoldBod, has entered into an agreement with the Ghana Geological Survey Authority (GGSA).
This partnership will focus on conducting geological investigations.
The investigations will take place in three specific areas that are known to have mineral deposits. These locations are Funsi, Atuna, and Bensere East.
This work forms part of the initial phase of a broader project.
The agreement signifies a push to better understand Ghana's mineral resources.
GGSA expertise will be used to survey these mineralized zones.
