The Ghana Gold Board, known as GoldBod, has signed a new agreement. The agreement is with the Ghana Geological Survey Authority.

This partnership will help investigate areas with potential mineral deposits. The focus is on three specific locations. These are identified as Funsi, Atuna, and Bensere East.

This work is the first phase of a larger project. It aims to understand the country's mineral wealth better.

The Ghana Geological Survey Authority has the expertise for these investigations.

The agreement was announced on March 30, 2026.
