The Ghana Gold Board and the Ghana Geological Survey Authority have signed an agreement worth GH¢27.5 million. This deal focuses on geological investigations.

The investigations will take place in three areas known for minerals. These are Funsi, Atuna, and Bensere East.

This partnership is meant to strengthen mining operations in Ghana. It aims to ensure decisions are based on solid data.

The agreement was signed on Monday, April 13, 2026. It represents the initial phase of a larger project.

This broader initiative seeks to generate reliable information for the mining sector.

Officials from both GoldBod and GGSA were present for the signing.
