The Ghana Gold Board, known as GoldBod, has signed an important partnership agreement. It is worth GH¢27.5 million. This deal is with the Ghana Geological Survey Authority GGSA.

The agreement aims to carry out geological investigations. These studies will happen in three areas where minerals are found. These areas are called Funsi, Atuna, and Bensere East.

This is the first step in a larger plan. The goal is to make sure mining in Ghana is based on solid, reliable information. This will help make better decisions about where and how to mine.
