Four individuals with alleged ties to the Power Distribution Services (PDS) have been arrested by the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) in connection with the alleged misappropriation of substantial sums belonging to the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).
The suspects, identified as Philip Ayensu, Viraj Phat, Sophia Korkor, and Justice Menka-Premoh, have since been granted bail. The BNI's investigation is reportedly focused on the alleged illicit transfer of ECG funds.
