Former Minister for Trade and Industry, Kobina Tahir Hammond, has issued a stern warning regarding a report presented to Parliament.

He stated he will take legal action if the report, which he deems inaccurate, is not withdrawn.

The report allegedly links a GH¢89.4 million debt to the government’s One District One Factory initiative.

Mr. Hammond described the claims of a fictitious debt as "preposterous" and a deliberate attempt to damage his reputation.

These allegations follow findings presented in a Bank Transfer Advice document.

Legal representatives for Mr. Hammond have indicated potential court proceedings.

The Attorney General’s office has been formally notified of the former minister’s demands.

The specific parliamentary committee or agency that submitted the report has not been detailed.
