Dr Joshua Zaato, a political scientist at the University of Ghana, has spoken about the government’s anti-corruption program. This program is called Operation Recover All Loot.

Dr Zaato said the freezing of assets under this operation looks good. However, he wants the government to be clear about what it hopes to achieve in the end. He is a Senior Lecturer in Political Science.

He warned that not every case might go all the way to court. This means some matters might be resolved differently.

His comments come as the government continues its work to recover looted state assets.

The focus on asset freezing is seen as a strong step.

But Dr Zaato believes the public needs to understand the full plan.

This ensures accountability in the long run.
