Godfred Yeboah Dame, the former Attorney-General, has issued a statement denying he ever used his position to stop any citizen from travelling.
Dame was speaking in relation to the arrest of Hanan Abdul-Wahab Aludiba, the former Chief Executive Officer of the National Food Buffer Stock Company.
Dame stated that his office always respected the rights of all individuals.
He affirmed that he did not, at any point, employ the powers of the Attorney-General to infringe upon the freedom of movement of any Ghanaian.
