Authorities have intercepted a significant cache of 1,545 uncustomed iPhones during an intelligence-led operation. The seizure included various models such as iPhone XR, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro.
The Ghana Revenue Authority’s Customs Division conducted the operation, which aimed to curb the influx of undeclared electronic goods. The phones are believed to have been imported without proper duty payments, representing a potential loss of revenue for the state.
