Afarinick Company Limited has given away more than 400,000 free cocoa seedlings to farmers. This happened in the Volta Region to help grow more cocoa.

The company wants to make cocoa farming better and help farmers earn more money. They also aim to make the Volta Region a leading area for cocoa production in Ghana.

The seedlings were distributed at Afarinick's large cocoa project in Kpando.

This project includes what is described as Ghana's largest sustainable cocoa plantation.

It also features a nursery with the capacity to grow two million young cocoa plants.

This initiative is part of efforts to speed up cocoa cultivation in the region.
