Nana Aduna II, who speaks for cocoa farmers in Ghana, wants big changes for the countrys cocoa business. He said during a program on Friday that COCOBOD, the cocoa board, should be smaller and more efficient.
He also believes Ghana needs a new regional commodities exchange. This would help farmers and the cocoa trade overall. Nana Aduna II shared his views on Townhall Talk.
His calls suggest that current systems for managing and trading cocoa may not be working as well as they could. He aims to bring more fairness and profit to farmers.
