The Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana CETAG has formally asked the Minister for Education to reverse a decision.
CETAG wants the appointment of an acting Vice Principal at the Dambai College of Education to be cancelled.
This is according to a statement from CETAG.
The group says the person appointed is currently a Senior Assistant Librarian.
CETAG believes this appointment breaks the rules for running colleges of education.
The association stated that the appointment goes against established academic governance rules.
CETAG has called on the Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, to revoke the decision.
